Psalm 118:8 - "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man." (NIV)

Isn't this interesting? ^^

Trial and Error..

It's not just your "diskarte" on solving math problems.. I think trial and error actually is the reason we've got everything right now... Everyone makes mistakes, and because of those mistakes we almost got it perfect today...

Imagine this..
Long time before...
Did ancient people knew what plant is considered as a vegetable?
I am very sure they tried every green seen, they cooked and tasted, and they judged whether it is good to be considered "food"... And along the way, they ate some freaky greens that they considered "plants".

Did ancient people knew if an animal's meat tastes good?
Just like the veggy thing, I think they also tried everything up... They tried if snake's meat tastes as good as pig's meat... Wherein I believe.. Is not! And still, along the way, they tried plenty more animal meat and judged whether they're food quality or it deserved to be kept inside the animal.. ^^

I could actually think of many more.. But the tv is quite distracting me. .So if I think of anything else.. I'll just write it down later..

Slide-cut-cut
slide-cut-cut

40 times per dance... and we dance around 7-10 times a day.. so that is a 400 redobas' maximum...
argh.. for the whole day... don't even think it's easy.. it's not even close to being "easy"... for those who don't know the meaning of "slide" and "cut"... red0ba looks like the "tinikling" in Chinese garter..

It's a cool way to lose weight... Haha.. Just do this in a closed room and put on some winter clothes...

Redoba is a simple routine at first but it becomes a painful burden as you go along...

Atheist
They are those who think..
1) There is no God
2) Suffocation = Evolution
3) Things fall because of science
4) They created mankind
-an unknown website

I don't really have a thing with atheist.. Its just that, sometimes, they cross the line that they make fun of Christ.. Which is of course, offending to me and all the Christians out there... I'm very concerned with Atheists since they do not know the path of truth and salvation... I'm bothered with the question.. What came into the mind of the person who originated Atheism? Was it he lacked faith? Was it he didn't experience any events that led him to believing that there is a Christ?

I really care for them.. I really do...
If I could just talk to them..
And open their hearts about God.
I would have done that a long time ago..

But their hearts..
Have been hardened by their belief..

Still, I know that everything has its purpose..

The only chance I had.. And I let go

Arghh.. This concerns by best enemy.. Yesterday, he gave me a rose.. I refused to accept.. And that was my mistake... Due to that refusal... He became more mad at me.. Haha... A lot of my friends said that I was a huge "tanga" about what I did.. And I don't blame them.. It is true...

If it weren't for my freaking pride.. We would have be friends by now.. But, of course, I know everything has its purpose.. Maybe its not yet the time to rekindle old times sake... I know, I believe that there would be a time when both of us are ready to forgive and forget..

I wish he would read this..
I miss him terribly...
And if ever we would be friends I again..
I swear to God, I'll never argue with him.. ANYMORE..

Maybe we're just tired of fighting, and this one's the best and the last

Silent tears...

This one's kinda emotional so I'll be using my native tongue..

Kanina, sa school, around dismissal time, Bea my best friend approached me and asked me why Billy, a classmate, was angry at me.. I was quite shocked since wala naman akong maalalang ginawa sa kanya, the only thing na pumapasok sa isip ko kung bakit siya nagalit is because his best boy bud happens to be my enemy... One's enough but two is too much... Tama bang maghanap ka pa ng kakampi.. I already swallowed my pride, and this is what I will get.. When I heard that not only one, but two, was angry at me.. I dropped a couple of tears... Ayoko makita nila na I am affected by the feud... But, sometimes its just too much to be kept inside that I need to excrete emotions thru tears...

Bakit ganun? Babae na lng ang laging nag sosorry?? -Iah

title: My Childish Mistakes
date: Sunday, February 3, 2008

I remember when I was a little kid, I experienced a lot of mishaps.. I can state some of those mishaps, but please keep in mind that these things happened around 7-11 years ago..

My mom told me that when I was little, I bumped my head to a Kanto (corner of a table), and until now, you can see the mark on my forehead. It's like a dimple.. Haha..

During Sundays, the whole family travels to Makati to attend Sunday Service, after the said event, we would go to Glorietta to eat or just walk around.. I saw this really cool mini rollercoaster for kids at Timezone and I forced my parents to let me ride it... They were kinda lazy to accompany me so they let me ride alone since they know that its appropriate for kids, but after 3 turns, I began screaming and I begged the operator to stop the coaster... Eventually and luckily, he did... The rest continued on with the ride while I swore never to ride a rollercoaster again..

New Year 1999, my parents videotaped this, my favorite song was playing on the radio and I was kinda bangag at that time.. I began dancing around the kitchen (no shame!!) and my dad kept on laughing at me, I didn't care and I don't know why..

(5-6 years old) This is the worse one, I never shared this to public, but let bygones be bygones.. My mom was supposed to go to an activity at Makati and she told me to come with her since my best friend would be around.. She decided that we take the early train passing Pacita at around 6 o' clock... Here's the scoop... The train stopped in the middle of the VEHICLE/TRAIN CROSSING so we could get in, meaning vehicles were forced to stop... The train operator shouted that we move faster since we are causing the traffic... My mom ran and I was left behind, I tried to run but my pants were too loose.. Since I had no choice, I let go of my pants and ran, suddenly my pants fell down... Exposing my undies to the halted vehicles... I didn't mind since I was thinking about the train.. But today, when I remember what happened.. I still get twinges in my stomach.

Friends...

Friends? I researched the dictionary for the meaning of friends and this is what it gave me..
1. somebody emotionally close: somebody who trusts and is fond of another
I know her, in fact she's a friend of mine.

2. acquaintance: somebody who thinks well of or is on good terms with somebody else
I have a friend at the office who might be able to help out.

How about my point of view.. Hm... This is gonna be a long one...
From my own experience, this is a friend...

When you sit alone in the room, a friend will come by and sit right next to you
When you have your enemy, a friend will always find a way to finish the feud
When you have your problems, a friend will serve as an ear to hear about everything
When you frown, a friend will not stop to cheer you up and an "I'm okay" is not always enough...
When times are great, a friend mixes up to increase the fun...
When you can't come to your planned "gala", a friend finds time to tell you completely what happened so you won't be left out.
When you finally reached you limit, a friend knows how to stop blabbering...

Hmm.. This is actually quite short from what I have in my mind..

I love my buds.!!
They're worth everything...

-BEA
-IAN
-IAH
-MICAH
-AIRA
-KAT
-JOE
-JELO

I simply love them... !
