LOVE is a battlefield
title: FAITH
date: Friday, February 27, 2009

sooo, I have been so inspired with God lately, I don't know why, but I'm really glad that I am. Anyways, I'm going to share again an INSPIRATIONAL STORY that I've heard kanina sa car, it was an audio book called "Maging Ubas, Hindi Pasas" or something like that. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND IT. hindi siya yung typical BORING na teachings, but rather, para siyang [speaker] nagtuturo sa mga grade schoolers, the sound effects are really funny and his voice is perfect for the job.

o siya, on with the STORY..

There was once a tribe who was in great drought [tagtuyo], they prayed VERY hard to God that HE would at least give them rain. They prayed for days, for weeks, and rather, FOR MONTHS. Due to the INTENSE need of water, the LEADER of the tribe proposed a PRAYER Brigade, he ordered that everyone would have to bring something that would symbolize their FAITH. The day came, and everyone brought their symbolisms. Some brought the bible, paintings, rebultos, sculptures, the Holy Cross, the usual HOLY stuffs. True enough it rained, they were gladdened by the blessing. BUT, not one of their symbol was the reason that God poured out rain. Not their paintings, their sculptures etc. NEITHER. But rather, one little kid stood out from the rest, and was believed to be the reason God gave in.

If you're wondering what did he bring to symbolize his faith?

well,
he brought an
UMBRELLA

nice right? The kid's faith was so strong, he believed that on the day of the Prayer Brigade, he knew it would rain so he brought an UMBRELLA. he was READY for God's blessing.

FAITH

- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

title: GRACE
date: Monday, February 23, 2009

God's Grace
Grace means unmerited FAVOR.
Unmerited means even if we're this or that, we get it. NO EXCEMPTIONS.
like, we accept blessing we DOESN'T deserve.
God's grace means, unmerited FAVOR from GOD

uhm.TAKE THIS ONE AS AN ILLUSTRATION
manny and jinky pacquiao

si manny., the one who gets all battered up, the one who took the rigorous training, the one who had to sacrifice his time away from his family to be prepared.

si jinky, as a wife, what Manny has, she has, meaning, all that MONEY is hers too. there was even one report na nagsho2pping daw si Jinky sa isang department store sa States, e pinasara yung mall sa public. IMAGINE THAT. and all she had to do was CHEER for her husband.
.

that what we mean by GRACE. Jesus, died sa cross to make us RIGHTEOUS. It wasn't Him who sinned, it was us.

Jesus had been spitted on, battered, nailed to death and now, all we had to do is BELIEVE HIM and we could gain whatever He has up there. [He is the Son of God y'know?!]

First there's FAITH, then along comes GRACE, BLESSINGS then tagged along.

E is the most unfortunate character of the alphabet. It is always out of cash, forever in debt. Never out of danger and in hell all the time. But notice that E is never in war and always in peace. It’s the beginning of existence and the end of trouble. Without E, we would have no love, life, heaven or maybe kathlEEn chiloE, right?

everytime I see him with her, i do get hurt. of course, who wouldn't?! wala pang isang year when he last said I love You, Good Bye.. the pain is still there.

em' just hurt SLIGHTLY anyways.

i've moved on. I believe I did, I know I did.

and besides,
There's already SOMEONE who caught my heart. and I love him too much to contain myself to the past.

i'll admit,
You first have to kiss a few frogs, before you meet your prince,

gahd.

i have this tita, not a blood relative...she was my second cousin's mom....

anyways, she is in comma and had very slim chances of waking up. kanina, my mom suggested we go there... to pay a visit and perhaps, to offer a prayer for her recovery.. i declined, i was tired.. [it was our prom yesterday] and because she insisted na mag commute na lang kami.

i just got the news. that she died.

if i only knew.
if only.....
and now.
MY GUILT IS KILLING ME.

i had the chance, i let it go.

hm. i want to be like papa.

kasiiii. did you know that he almost traveled the whole world. [almost, kasi antartica. DUUUH]
i asked him to take the geography quiz of encarta [hard mode] and he aced it... PERFECTED it, i must add....

he kept saying.
"eto yung [insert nearby location], i've been here already... so this must be [insert location]..."
"nag port na kami dito e.. [insert location] yan."
etc.etc.etc.

he's currently sailing between Europe and South America... the 2 continents i've been wishing to visit.. gahh.

pero. when we went to Cebu. [take note. CEBU]... he said the NICEST thing.
"kahit na i've seen both ends of the world, a lot of columbian girls xD [i've seen em', they're really gorgeous], and sights that would take your breath away... having you both here with me [mama & moi] is something priceless compared to everything the world can offer."
