LOVE is a battlefield
title: Makati, EDSA, Parañaque
date: Friday, February 5, 2010

Today, was a fun and tiring day. :)

We went out early in the morning for Papa to report in his office. We, me and mama, asked papa to drop at us Walter Mart near Don Bosco. I bought make up (for prom) there. I prompted to buy and apply make up personally, so I could lessen the chance of me looking like a drag queen. After that, we went to QC cause Papa bought these stepboard for his ride. EDSA sure was tiring. The traffic was super. =| On our way back south, I got the chance to see numerous of malls that seemed to be interconnected for they were so closely built. First was SM Megamall, then Robinsons, then St. Francis Square, then The Podium, aannnd Shangri-la.

We were supposed to watch Flow at PAGCOR today. But then, some politician from Makati took the whole show for him and his, let's just call them "voters".  So, instead, the show for us outsiders was rescheduled. PAGCOR, by the way, is the Casino you'll see near NAIA 2. So that means that the SOP there is No Minors Allowed. It's nice to know that even though I'm 2 years away from being an adult, they still hesitated when they saw me and kept on asking my parents how old I am. PAGCOR was big and colorful. I barely saw the Casino part though for it was located waaayyyy further from the entrance. The Casino people, as I have observed, are usually Chinese, politicians, and late-aged people.

I'm tired today. And I have a seminar tomorrow. I sure do hope that the speaker would talk lively. Kasi kung hindi... =|

P.S
I got to see rad rides today. Like AUDIs, BMWs, PORSCHEs, JEEPs, CHRYSLER (at the casino) and FORDs (at the casino too, which I think belongs to that politician)

title: Prom
date: Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Now that prom is fast approaching, I see and hear more and more girls fussing about their thousand peso gowns, their updos and makeup. And specifically for us Agustinians, our masks.

Guys could rent their suits and we won't know about it. Girls have to spend money for their gown, cause if they were to rent, it would be tad too obvious.

Guys would only have to worry on what shade of black their suits have to be. Girls have the whole color palatte to choose from.

Guys could just slab on gel on their hair, and they are good to go. Girls have to worry on how their hair would look like.

Guys could just apply foundation or powder. Girls have to worry about their make up, for too much of it would make them look like drag queens.

-

Girls, have to wax their underarms, wear underwire bras, step into 2-inch heels, and retouch their make ups every hour.

Guys, have to. uh. build up courage and guts to ask the girl of their dreams to dance with them.

Hindi ako bitter sa boys. *evil laugh* Kasi, on the last part of the comparisons. Parang ang hirap din nun. It concerns your emotions e, that's a different story. Siguro for now, TOUCHE na muna. :) Both has their parts, mahirap man o madali.
