LOVE is a battlefield
title: I NURSED A BABY BIRD.
date: Saturday, August 16, 2008

i woke up hearing my mom's voice saying
"CHIIIIEEE. binaba na nung lovebirds yung anak nila"

i jumped out of my bed. fixed my self for about 3 seconds and hurriedly ran outside to check it out. true enough. there it was. grungy yet adorable. it kept on eating.
i kept checking the chick every hour and it seemed to be stable. then. when i was about to check it. i saw the. err. [I dunno if it was the dad or mom. i'll just call it BLUE BIRD] blue bird attacking the chick. but as soon as i came near and looked closely. blue bird immediately flew away. i told mom about it but when she checked. everything still seemed to be normal so she didn't believe me. CRAP ayt?

then. while i was soldering. [YEA.SOLDERING.] my mom called me. IN A SHOUTING WAY. i again jumped up from where i was sitting and ran outside. THERE. i saw the chick. it's head was covered in blood. and i saw the BLUE BIRD's beak with marks of blood. MEANING. the BLUE BIRD is the one responsible for the chick's sitch. my mom told me to stand guard if ever the BLUE BIRD would attack again for she will go and find a cage to seclude the chick. while i was there. looking at the chick's wound. my heart pounded and my throat twisted. I almost cried. he was just tooo little to be hurt and to imagine that his er. parent did this to him. IT WAS TRAGIC..
my mom took the chick out and i nursed it. BY NURSED i mean. placing betadine on its wound and carefully placing him to a seperate cage. he tried to er. tuka me. but he was still to little for the tuka to actually cause pain.
we placed him inside the cage and into our home where he snuggly slept. away from his violent parents.
I tried to research about this situation. but i failed.

THOSE BIRDS WILL BE GIVEN ....the rightful punishment. TIHEEE.. ughhh. the thought itself kills me.

we prayed. yes we did. (: praying that the chick would continue to live and that the wound would heal. (:

i'll try to post pictures. ):
