LOVE is a battlefield
title: being a born again.
date: Monday, December 8, 2008

what does it feel like to be a born again in a catholic school? I KNOW! there isn't much SEGREGATION between the two. but OF COURSE. disadvantages are a PART of it.
like.
  1. we have no friggin' idea about the basic catholic prayers. and being in a Catholic school means that you need to memorize them. i remember when i was a freshman, we had this quiz on CVE concerning basic prayers and I scored zero
  2. the communion [part of the mass] sure. we have our own communion, but since they do it different, i'd rather just sit down. nako. pag malayo yung class niyo dun sa priest, gosh. antagal mong magiging emu dahil mag-isa ka lang, and you have to wait for them to return one by one
  3. those annoying students who takes things literally. those who refer "born again" as. yung pinasok ulit sa womb ng nanay tapos pinanganak ulit.. [SABAY TAWA] TAKTE. it's irritating. and sad to say. MY SEATMATE is one of em. nananahimik na lang ako when he says that. darnit. i respect his/their religion, can't he do the same for mine?!.
okay. fyi. here is our church's definition of being a "born again"
"A man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
John 3:1-8

"How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?"
<- parang yung seatmate ko lang e no?!

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." <- okay. ito na yung meaning. water means the "word" HIS holy word to be exact.,and SPIRIT means JESUS..
we have to die, in the flesh/soul. and be born in GOD's word and live in JESUS CHRIST'S spirit.

okay na?!
