LOVE is a battlefield
title: FAITH
date: Friday, February 27, 2009

sooo, I have been so inspired with God lately, I don't know why, but I'm really glad that I am. Anyways, I'm going to share again an INSPIRATIONAL STORY that I've heard kanina sa car, it was an audio book called "Maging Ubas, Hindi Pasas" or something like that. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND IT. hindi siya yung typical BORING na teachings, but rather, para siyang [speaker] nagtuturo sa mga grade schoolers, the sound effects are really funny and his voice is perfect for the job.

o siya, on with the STORY..

There was once a tribe who was in great drought [tagtuyo], they prayed VERY hard to God that HE would at least give them rain. They prayed for days, for weeks, and rather, FOR MONTHS. Due to the INTENSE need of water, the LEADER of the tribe proposed a PRAYER Brigade, he ordered that everyone would have to bring something that would symbolize their FAITH. The day came, and everyone brought their symbolisms. Some brought the bible, paintings, rebultos, sculptures, the Holy Cross, the usual HOLY stuffs. True enough it rained, they were gladdened by the blessing. BUT, not one of their symbol was the reason that God poured out rain. Not their paintings, their sculptures etc. NEITHER. But rather, one little kid stood out from the rest, and was believed to be the reason God gave in.

If you're wondering what did he bring to symbolize his faith?

well,
he brought an
UMBRELLA

nice right? The kid's faith was so strong, he believed that on the day of the Prayer Brigade, he knew it would rain so he brought an UMBRELLA. he was READY for God's blessing.

FAITH

- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
